Being sick is one of the worst things known to man, and it is something that every man, woman, and child has to deal with at some time in their lives. Some of these sicknesses are short term, such as the flu, the common cold, or even a killer case of the kissing disease, mono. These short term illnesses are uncomfortable and not fun at all, but, you can take comfort that they will end, and you will be able to continue with your life.

As long as there are people willing to pay good money in order to feel more protected, there will always be people that are willing to accept that money in exchange for an insurance policy they are not likely to have to cash in on. We have compiled a list of the four weirdest insurance policies that you could currently go out and buy, although we cannot say if we recommend it.

You may also be under the impression that your mother, sister, wife, daughter, or you as a women yourself will never have a heart attack because on television, the men are the only ones that are seen being revived from this. That is because men are the only ones that are allowed to take their tops off in television programs, thus diminishing the amount of women they can show being revived from heart attacks.

However, these days it has become more commonplace as weddings are becoming more and more expensive, and those that fund them are getting less and less back when the bride or groom to be gets cold feet. This kind of insurance only benefits the innocent investors and not the couple themselves and can only go into effect if it is cancelled 180 days or less before the wedding.

The first step is to apply chest compressions at least two inches deep at a consistent rhythm of at least 100 a minute. Then, you must exhale into the patient's mouth to create artificial airflow. This may restart their flow enough to start the heart to make it shockable.

Some long term illnesses are more limiting than others, but when we look at the lives of heroic figures with long term medical issues, we can see the potential to live a full and impactful life even with trials. Look, for example, at Helen Keller. Though she was unable to see or hear for her entire life, she was still able to travel the world, inspire people, and most importantly, communicate.

Having a good network can help every life be more fulfilling and generally better. One of the difficulties of long term illness is finding insurance. Having insurance for these illnesses can be difficult but is extremely important. In 2014, the difficulties of insurance with pre-existing conditions will become less difficult as more insurance providers will be required to insure everyone.

Whatever the emergency, you will hope that when you or your loved one is taken to the emergency room you have medical health insurance to cover any costs. And do everything in your power to prevent anyone you know from having to be sent to the emergency where it might be too late.
