Eyelash extensions refer to beauty products that people use to enhance the curliness, thickness, fullness, and length of their natural eyelashes. These products are made from a wide range of materials such as horse hair, synthetics, and mink among many others. Even though other methods may exist, the main technique of applying these products is by use of an adhesive to stick individual strands of extensions onto the eyelashes. When in need of Eyelash extensions Las Vegas should be visited.

It is worth noting that false eyelashes and eyelash extensions are not the same thing. There are major differences between the two. In history, various people have mentioned the term eyelash extensions with the oldest account dating back to 1879. Others trace back to 1882, 1902 and 1916. These mentions are thought to have occurred in different countries.

These products are in two major types which are semi-permanent eyelash extensions and false eyelashes. All these products are designed to improve the volume and length of eyelashes although they vary in some ways. For example, temporary lash glue is used to apply temporary false lashes. Given the nature used to apply the glue, one cannot wear them when showering, sleeping, or swimming.

Usually, the selling of temporary false lashes is done in form of lash strips in most instances. However, one can also find them in form of individual strands and clusters. Another form of temporary lashes which has a magnetic field has been invented by an American woman. The invention of this commodity was done in 2016. Its application is done by positioning the false lashes between the natural eyelashes.

Semi-permanent lashes are applied using adhesives. Another name for this product is individual eyelash extensions. The most common adhesive used to apply it is cyanoacrylate, which exists in different types, including octyl, butyl, and methyl. This adhesive is designed in that it can bond to various surfaces. Proper application is necessary to ensure that neither the adhesive nor eyelashes touch the eyelid to avoid irritation.

In the United States, the price charged for eyelash extension services ranges from 100 to 500 dollars. Price difference is normally due to a number of factors. The factors include the type and number of lashes to be applied, location or venue of the procedure and the level of skill the cosmetician has. There are certain salons and cosmetic centers that charge very high prices for their services. This may be due to their high quality of service, number of clients, or presence of very skilled cosmeticians.

Different amounts of time is taken in the procedure of attaching extensions. This relies on the number of individual lashes that should be installed. Usually, one has between 100 and 200 lashes. One to three hours might be taken to complete installation of lashes. How many natural lashes one has determines the number of lashes that can be installed.

Normally a person loses eyelashes daily. This is to mean that fake lashes are also lost on a daily basis. For this reason, they are able to last for around 3 to 4 weeks after which they begin to fall off or thin. It is recommended to refill these lashes after every 2 to 3 weeks or have them replaced after every 4 weeks in order to keep a full set of lashes.
