These days, the only safe tan comes out of a bottle, but such products have undergone improvements. Modern lotions are better able to produce a natural looking tan without an orange tinge. Using a Sun Lab product will produce better results when the tone, delivery method and application are carried out well.

Skins that are sun kissed look healthy and make one seem slimmer. Toned skin hides many flaws and lines, and also gives the wearer more confidence. Since spending time in the sun causes aging, it's best to avoid it and use Sun Lab sunless tanning products. It's possible to get a salon-based airbrushed tan, but this is a costly option that is inconvenient for regular use. Instead, home based Sun Lab application needs to be perfected to produce the best results.

Sunless tanning is best achieved when the correct Sun Lab tone is selected according to one's own natural coloring. In most cases, the selection method is logical: Lighter skins need lighter products, and olive skins need deeper ones. Products by sun lab work slightly differently to this. The deepest tones seem to work better on lighter skins.

The dreaded two tone shading and streaking that accompanies many home applications is easy to avoid by preparing the skin well before applying the product. Exfoliation helps to keep the color even by ridding the skin of dry cells that absorb more pigment. Moisturizing will be useful, particularly when a water based Sun Lab product is applied directly after showering.

Moisturising after a bath or shower helps the skin to retain the moisture it has been absorbing over a lengthy period. Water alone is not enough to plump up the skin durably. An emollient works by sealing water into the skin so that it is kept soft for longer. However, Sun Lab tans can become uneven when applied to oily skin, so emollients should only be used on the days that the product will not be applied.

Sun Lab sunless tans are offered in several different types. Many prefer spray applications because they are more even and prevent staining of the cuticles and palms. Those who enjoy lotions need to wear a mitt during application and use circular motions to achieve a more even tone.

After application of Sun Lab lotion, it's important to immediately wash the hands and the areas around the finger and toe nails, where pigment appears unnatural. Sun Lab also offers a range of maintenance products that make one's tone last longer without the need for lengthy reapplication procedures. Unlike competing products, which generally produce results overnight, Sun Lab products show their effects within a few hours. This allows consumers to wash off the product before they go to bed so that linen and clothing are not stained.

Sun Lab produces a range of products that produce a deep tan, but these are subtle enough for pale skins. Those with light and olive tones can achieve a gradual effect that allows a greater degree of control by applying the product every few days. This allows one to choose the tone one achieves over a longer period of time, which tends to produce natural results.
