Since all of living beings that exist in the earth are a part of nature, there are rules that animals and plants must adhere to. These rules are what help makes up the entire ecosystem and keeps everything in order. Man is part of this order and there are things that humans have done over the years to become the most dominant species.

There are reasons as to why animals eat, but people have their reasons as well. For animals, it is as simple as breathing. Many of these creatures were given the tools to consume the things that they were meant to. Humans on the other hand, have been eating different kinds of things for the past thousands of years, leading to problems that would need having nutrition coach online today.

When humanity first came into being, the main food source were various kinds of vegetables and different animals. In a time where humans have not learned to use weapons and tools yet, man had to hunt smaller creatures and farm to gain food. As time progressed, the method and tools used for hunting improved.

Unlike carnivores that are allowed able to consume meat or herbivores that only consume plants, humans are something that does both. Human beings are classified as omnivores as they can digest and consume both meat and plant products. This helped men survive as it allowed them to eat almost anything when supplies were short.

This was the action of cooking. Since, the early man discovered fire, lots of things have been made possible due to fire being available. Cooking is something that is very beneficial as it allowed the meat that was gather to be burnt with the fire. This action helped the meat become more tender and taste far better.

The ancient civilizations had made many contributions to the way that people eat today. The main one that was used by the ancients were salt and sugar. In those times, getting salt was a very difficult task, making the product very valuable to many countries. The trade for salt was so great that it European countries began to look for new sources.

Sugar was especially popular. In the past, sugar was it is known today was not available. Only doctors had it as it was often used it medical procedures. When the merchants from the west saw that the Indians had this strange and wonderful product, it was immediately loved by those in Europe and it was valued as much as salt was.

In the present, these two things have caused various health problems. Back in the middle ages, being fat and having a bit of extra weight was considered something good was it was a sign of wealth. Bigger women were preferred back than as well due to the fact that these women had the body to carry good babies.

In the modern world, this problem has become worse. With processed and fast food becoming widely available, men and women are becoming fatter and less healthy in that process. For those that have an excessive amount of weight, proper control and decent exercise should fix the issue.
