If you get a personal trainer that is experienced with the sport that you are training for, it is of course better. However, it is a very rare occurrence, as very few trainers are known to do sports based trainer and most of them are known to be versatile. Choose a personal trainer that provides you with result oriented services and is willing to help you achieve your fitness goals. Avoid trainer who are providing you their services as because they are going to be paid for it.
