Running with a person who is more fit than you are can inspire you to work up to their level. You will see what a person who is faster and fitter than you looks like, rather than being a vague notion in your mind. You will be inspired to push yourself harder, with the eventual goal of beating that person someday.

Know the right sit-up form to get the most from this simple exercise. Buy a Swiss ball and place it under the small of your back to get the most out of your sit-ups. It not advisable to use the anchored-feet position when you do sit-ups. This can cause too much stress to your lower back.

Swapping your desk chair for an exercise ball can be a great move, so long as you are able to balance upon the ball safely. By sitting on an exercise ball you will be toning your core and making your balance better while you sit at work. You can also use a fitness ball to perform wall squats and other various exercises throughout the day.
