Spring is the time when winter has passed, trees and flowers are budding, and everything seems to be renewing itself. The birds seem happier, the weather is warmer, and people feel like getting out more. It is the time when people no longer have to bother clearing their roads and roofs of snow as well as the cold weather. They just want to get out and open up. Its simply a time for people to take a walk after the long stay at home and a time to play outdoors. It's also a time for something else which is very important in the lives of those who are participating in it. For some, it is the best time to celebrate weddings.

Weddings take place in churches, houses, and even such esoteric places as swimming pools. Another good setting for weddings is on the farm. After all, you grew up there. You worked there. The family lives there. Why not have your wedding there?

What are some of the fun ideas for a farm wedding?

You can go as wild as you want with regard to the fun wedding ideas. Some people would decorate their barns with banners made up of corn fruits or wheat and even have chairs made out of leaves. Covered hay bales serve as seats. On the wedding ceremony, not only guests get to watch but farm animals as well.

Another idea that would come to mind would probably coming to the ceremony riding a tractor. Surprisingly, this idea is no longer new and someone actually did it in their wedding. The tractor can actually become a great accessory or design for a wedding if used accordingly and stylishly. You can set up your tractor with seats that can accommodate more than a dozen. Although a traditional or old set up or scene would sound old it is actually sleek and people today love it. The married couple can have a stage in the farm or can take their vows near the creek, river or lake. The couple will then take pictures in all the places and settings in the farm including the swamp. Receptions can take place in the barn with a band playing in the background.

In another case, the bride and groom had their wedding on a farm which was out in the woods. What you'll commonly see in pictures after the wedding would be a background of bushes and trees. One unique photograph shows the couple standing on a bridge that connected the couple's treehouse from the ground. What to serve to eat? The wedding can be set up with foods such as candies, cookies and cupcakes.

What are cool ideas with regard to the food? A good suggestion for food is making sweets or treats with floral designs. Indeed a wedding won't be complete without the tall wedding cake with the couples' statuettes on the upper most layer of the cake.

The sky is the limit when it comes to farm wedding ideas. Imaginations run wild as the eager couple planned for something that is not only unique but memorable; a farm wedding.
