If you have been searching for the best that Denver has to offer when it comes to local CO chiropractor offices then you should know how to make the most of the great benefits you get from your chiropractic care. Getting adjusted or re-aligned can do wonders for your spine and the rest of your body but you need to make sure you are doing everything in your power to continue those benefits between your chiropractor sessions and appointments. There are several things A Denver CO Chiropractor can recommend to their Denver patients:

The primary concern is your posture and how it affects your back health. Don't sit slumped or slouched as this can create strain on your neck and back and cause the bones of your spine to get misaligned.

If you sit with your legs crossed or keep them tucked under you most of the time, this can strain your lower back muscles and can cause further spine issues also.

You will want to keep your back as straight as possible with shoulders back, and head at the proper tilt to keep your back in alignment once your chiropractor has adjusted the vertebrae in your spine.

Be careful at the office! This is one of the biggest issues office workers have- spending all day at the computer puts a lot of strain on the entire body but especially the neck and back. Leaning over the keyword, holding your head at an odd angle to see the screen, and holding your hands, and arms in an unnatural position for long periods of time will wreak havoc on the spinal system! Issues such as neck and back pain, arm tightness, numbness, and problems with vision, headaches, and hand pains are very common complaints many CO Chiropractors see.

You need to move and stretch throughout the day. Get up and get out and walk for 15-30 minutes each day. If you can't leave then stand or sit and stretch your limbs but get them moving as this will greatly reduce strain and pressure on your back and body. If you sit for long periods of time without moving this causes misalignments and others issues, just move and stretch and remember to take good care of your spine and it will take good care of you.
